Text to 3D — Describe an Idea in Plain Language

Describe the object, shape, material, proportions, and visual character in plain language. Keep the request focused so the generator has a clear target.

Control the result: Choose the asset profile, material, mesh target, and compatible quality settings before submission. The exact credit quote appears before generation.
Write a clearer prompt: Name the object first, then add the details that matter most. An optional negative prompt can remove unwanted characteristics.

MODE 02 — IMAGE TO 3D02

Image to 3D — Turn a Reference into a Model

Upload a JPG or PNG reference when the visual direction already exists. PUR3D stores the completed result in your model history and keeps it connected to the source images.

Single-image generation: Use one clear reference image for a product, prop, character concept, natural object, or illustration.
Multiview generation: Provide a required front view and one to three unique left, back, or right views of the same subject.

Manual uploads support JPG and PNG. WebP and GIF are not currently accepted by the 3D upload control.

CONTROL 03 — BEFORE YOU SPEND CREDITS03 / 09

PUR3D exposes only settings the selected workflow can accept and shows the exact credit quote before submission.

Choose among the available high-fidelity, low-poly, and premium workflows. Supported inputs and advanced controls remain profile-specific.

Choose geometry-only output when shape matters most, or standard PBR material generation when the selected profile supports textured output.

Use Auto for a general result, Web or Game for a downstream target, or Custom where direct face-limit control is supported.

Compatible quality controls
Compatible profiles expose texture and geometry quality, UV export, geometry compression, face limits, and seed controls without accepting invalid combinations.

Generation continues as a background workflow, while each job keeps its input, quote, progress, result, and failure state together.

These answers describe the current product contract, including inputs, credits, output, commercial use, and the limits of generated geometry.

Q.01What can I use to generate a 3D model?

Start from a text prompt, one reference image, or a multiview set. Multiview requires a front image plus at least one left, back, or right view.

Q.02Do I need 3D modeling experience?

No modeling experience is required to submit a job or inspect the result. Review the completed model in an appropriate 3D tool before using it in a production workflow.

Q.03Which image formats can I upload?

The manual 3D upload control accepts JPG and PNG files. The Studio validates the file size against the selected generation profile. WebP and GIF are not accepted as manual 3D uploads.

Q.04What format can I download?

PUR3D currently downloads generated models as GLB files. OBJ and STL export are not currently available.

Q.05Is PUR3D free?

The public 3D library includes content you can explore for free. AI model generation uses credits and is not presented as a free generation offer.

Q.06Do I need a credit card to register?

No credit card is required to create an account or explore the free public collection. Payment is required only when you purchase membership, lifetime access, or generation credits.

Q.07How much does a generation cost?

The price depends on the input mode, generation profile, material, mesh target, and selected quality settings. PUR3D calculates the exact credit quote before submission.

Q.08How long does generation take?

Generation time varies by input mode, selected profile and settings, model complexity, and provider availability. Jobs run asynchronously and remain visible in your history.

Q.09What happens if generation fails?

When a generation job reaches a confirmed failed state after credits were charged, PUR3D automatically returns the applicable credits to your balance.

Q.10Can I use a generated model for 3D printing?

PUR3D currently provides GLB rather than STL output. You can convert and prepare the file in compatible 3D software, but PUR3D does not guarantee watertight, manifold, dimensionally accurate, or manufacturing-ready geometry.

Q.11Can I use a generated model commercially?

Yes. You may use and edit generated models for personal or commercial projects. You remain responsible for having the right to use your prompts and reference images, checking the output, and ensuring downstream use does not infringe third-party rights.

Q.12Are generated science models reviewed for accuracy?

No. A generated model is visual output and should not automatically be treated as a verified scientific representation. Published library specimens follow a separate editorial process with reviewed notes, facts, and sources.
